Registration and Kiwa certification

If the lock is Kiwa certified, a registration certificate is also sent along. This registration certificate shows the Kiwa certificate number. Complete all the requested details, including the lock/key card number supplied with the lock. Send this form to [email protected] for registration and keep this form in a safe place for possible guarantee or spare keys. This will also prove to the insurance company that the lock is certified. More information on Kiwa certification can be found on the Kiwa page.

Repairs of SBS locks

At our service center, we are constantly working on developing and improving our SBS locks, as this enables us to guarantee high quality. In the unlikely event that you should encounter problems with one of our locks, please bring it in to be repaired, and we will ensure that your lock is repaired as soon as possible.

Spare keys

Should you unexpectedly lose a key, you can order an additional spare key. Send a request containing company details, customer number (this number can be found on your invoice and starts with a letter C) and a copy of the key card you received with your purchase to [email protected]. Please note that without a key card, we are unable to create any spare keys.

Maintenance of mechanical locks

The SBS mechanical locks require maintenance, just like your trailer. Want to prevent problems? Then make sure that your mechanical trailer lock is well-protected, so that it continues to work without a problem.

Lubrication spray
The simplest solutions for keeping a trailer lock supple is to maintain it with lubrication spray such as Brunox Turbo Spray®. This multifunctional lubrication spray contains Turboline and has a fivefold effect. It is penetrating oil, lubricating oil, water dispersant, contact spray, cleaner and protection in one. Thanks to the handy powerclick system, you can spray in a very targeted manner using the small tube or atomise broadly for surface protection.

Protective padlock cap
To protect your padlock, you can place a rubber protective cap on top. A protective cap such as this prevents dirt and water from entering the padlock. The rubber cap is designed in such a way that water can leave the padlock, but dirt cannot enter.

Protective sleeve for your mechanical lock
Easily protect your mechanical locks with an appropriate sleeve. This sleeve protects against splashing dirt and water and the effect of salt.
