Ellermeyer builds Easy Aero Electrics into van for ventilation dog transport

Ellermeyer, founded in 1946, specialises in alteration, furnishing and modification of vehicles, boats and interiors. Comfortable and safe business driving is Ellermeyer's speciality. In doing so, it uses our innovative van products, such as Gatelock security locks, Easy Step step systems, Easy Aero roof ventilators and load securing products. For example, Ellermeyer was one of the first customers to install the new Easy Aero Electric in a van for ventilation in dog transport. We asked Tim Rijnbeek, account manager at Ellermeyer about his experiences with Imbema and the Easy Aero Electric.
Ellermeyer always looks for the best product/quality ratio
"When I was just working at Ellermeyer, a customer asked about proper security for his company car. It had been broken into that night and all his tools had been taken. I immediately thought of Gatelock locks. Ellermeyer had supplied Gatelock security locks before and I knew them from my past in the car industry. So I decided to contact Imbema. Your specialist Jeroen Rovers very enthusiastically told me all the ins and outs of Gatelock locks. Successfully, because since then we only sell these quality locks. We then also introduced other Imbema products. Ellermeyer always looks for the best product/quality ratio within its product groups. Imbema's products, such as the Easy Aero Electric, match this perfectly," says Tim Rijnbeek.
"Because the Easy Aero Electric keeps running even when stationary, this roof fan is very suitable for dog transport ventilation. Excess heat is removed from the van and cool air is drawn in. Thus, the dogs always have enough fresh air and do not get too hot."
Easy Aero: unique operation, smart design & easy assembly
"The great thing about Imbema is that you develop your own products based on market needs. You can see this clearly in the design of the Easy Aero. The push and pull operation is really unique. The ventilation is good and with the electric version you always have enough fresh air in the van. As no moving parts are used, the Easy Aero roof fan is quite robust and can pass through the car wash without any trouble. In addition, a floor drain is no longer necessary. This saves us a lot of time during assembly. And speaking of mounting; this is very easy to do with the special punch. Thanks to the holes of only 90 mm, the Easy Aero can be easily installed in almost any roof, despite its many undulations. The design has also been well thought out. Besides the fact that the Easy Aero looks beautiful from the outside, the bottom of the Electric is slanted. This prevents you from bumping into it so easily. Finally, the option to build in LED lighting is a really great idea. The wiring is already there anyway."
Dog transport ventilation
"Because the Easy Aero Electric keeps running even when stationary, this roof fan is very suitable for dog transport ventilation. So when a dog walking service was looking for good ventilation for a Peugeot Expert, it was easy to convince this customer to take the Easy Aero Electric.As there were two separate compartments for dog transport, the customer opted for two Easy Aero Electrics. These can ventilate the space separately from each other. The electric roof fans ensure that the temperature inside the van does not become too high for the dogs. Excess heat is removed from the van and cool air is drawn in. Thus, the dogs always have enough fresh air and do not get too hot. Foul odours from wet dogs, for example, are also removed.
The customer has now been using the new Easy Aero Electric roof fans for about two weeks and is extremely satisfied. The fans, when turned on together, are even quieter than the single fan in her previous vehicle."
