Vehicle protection

Trucks, semi-trailers and trailers over 3500 kg must have side underrun protection on both sides. Side guards prevent pedestrians, cyclists and animals from getting under the wheels of your truck. In addition, a bumper or underrun protection must be fitted at the rear. Underrun protection prevents other road users from getting under the vehicle and is mandatory. Guards prevents damage to the rear of your trailer during loading and unloading at a docking station. Parking backwards against a loading block or dock is quite tricky. The space between the loading block and the vehicle should be as small as possible. To prevent damage to your trailer or semi-trailer, you can mount bumper rollers or bumper blocks.
